Perla has been working in the mental health field for 20 years. She has worked as an intake coordinator in nonprofit organizations that provide mental health services to under privileged youth, families, and children who are in the foster care system. At Compass Therapeutic Alliance, Perla is responsible for establishing the first contact with the client and their families, processing their insurance, managing referrals and court documents, and linking clients with a therapist that suits their needs. She is also responsible for the posting, reconciliation, and management of patient account payments.
